The search for Miss IEA at the Tabuk Gymnasium on July 17, 2008 started at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The said affair was hosted by Miss Rhoda C. Anniban and Mr. Robinson Paloma. The judges of the said search were Mr. Marciano Paroy—Chairman and the members: Mrs. Rosalinda Soriano, Miss Yvonne Gallema, Dr, Paulino Reyes II and Dr. Norfredo Dulay.
The said search was based on the following criteria: native attire, Sports attire and gown which were judged according to the appropriateness and originality 30%, carriage and stage projection 30%, Beauty (face, body & height) 40%, for a total of 100%. For the question and answer- confidence and relevance is 60% and Beauty (face,body & height) 40% for a total of 100%.
There were twelve aspirants for the crown- Miss Lynneth Baglinit the freshman representative, Miss Caroline B. Topinio and Miss Sherlene Joy Appilado the Filipino Club representatives, Miss Jenny B. Carino and Miss Monaliza Balutoc represent the ITS (Information Technology Society), Michelle Cariaga and Christine Calwing for the sophomore, Miss Desiree Gail Velaro and Miss Melissa Lachica the juniors representatives, Miss Haydee P. Dilangsoy and Miss Kniwyth A. Juan represent the Seniors and Miss Melissa Bona the representative of the JEO (Junior Entrepreneur Organization).
